Detecting Tailgating and Piggybacking with Gait Intelligence
Kinerva helps detect tailgating and piggybacking by applying Gait Intelligence to existing overhead security cameras. By analyzing stride rhythm, cadence, center-of-mass movement, and joint dynamics, the system can distinguish between a single authorized user and multiple people passing through together. This enables real-time alerts when the number of detected gait profiles does not match the number of valid badge events, helping security teams identify access fraud before unauthorized individuals move deeper into the facility.
